Back Ribs 1/2 Rack 5-7 bones

Beef back ribs are the long, curved bones cut from the rib section of the cow, specifically from the upper portion of the rib primal, after the ribeye steaks or prime rib roasts have been removed. These ribs are known for their meaty flavor, though the meat is often found between the bones rather than on top of them, since the premium meat is trimmed for steaks.

While they aren’t as meaty as short ribs, back ribs still offer a deep, beefy taste and a satisfying chew, especially when grilled, smoked, or slow-roasted. They absorb marinades and dry rubs well and develop a rich bark when cooked low and slow. Average weight 2.5lbs.
